Our Mission
We are dedicated to bringing hope and dignity to those experiencing homelessness. Through support and community engagement, we strive to create a world where every homeless individual has the opportunity to thrive and rebuild their lives with the love and care they deserve.
Our Goals
We plan to purchase three trailers to service the homeless.
Dignity trailer #1 will be three shower and bathroom combos with one being handicap accessible and two washer/dryer combos.
Dignity trailer #2 will have three washer/dryer combos with several bathroom stales and sinks.
Dignity trailer #3 will be the kitchen that will have a bathroom/powder room for the cook/chief.
We plan to raise funds for Dignity trailer #1 first with the other trailers to follow.
We believe having self contained mobile trailers will be an added benefit in the DC Metro area.
We are currently waiting for local and federal notification to solicit and collect monetary donations. We are able to accept unlimited unsolicited monetary donations and limited unsolicited item donations of any kind.

On 8/24/2026 GOD's Peace, Incorporated was created.
On 8/25/2026 GOD's Peace applied for 501(c)(3) a little too early - lesson learned.
On 8/26/2026 GOD's Peace submitted amended Articles of Incorporation with Bylaws.
On 8/26/2026 GOD's Peace website was created and paid for 1 year with a free domain for 1 year

On 8/27/2026 GOD's Peace set up Googlegworkspace and Google Voice. The email address is info@godspeacenonprofit.org and the Google phone number is 301-246-0269
On 8/27/2026 GOD's Peace purchased their first set of homeless kits - which contains extra large rinse free body wipes, pocket tissues, all natural lip balms, mini first aid kits, mouthwash, socks, drawstring back packs, mini water bottles, and granola bars. They are due to arrive on September 1st.
On 8/28/2026 GOD's Peace website was published and is viewable. However, there are some issues with several links that are being worked on.
On 8/29/2026 GOD's Peace website was updated and all of the links should work, except for the donation buttons and links which have been disabled.
On 8/29/2026 GOD's Peace business cards ordered.

On 8/31/2026 GOD's Peace added an Event Calendar.
On 9/1/2026 GOD's Peace received the items for the homeless kits and found that some items did not have what was advertised. GOD's Peace ordered more socks, deodorant, more granola bars, and flossing picks. The additional items are due to arrive on 9/6/2026.
On 9/3/2026 GOD's Peace notes a person accepted one of the three Director positions. More information about the new Director will be provided later in the About Us section.
On 9/5/2026 GOD's Peace received the additional items and packed all of the backpacks. Pictures are in the Photo Gallery.
On 9/8/2026 GOD's Peace updated the website flow and added menus to each section of the Home page.
On 9/10/2026 GOD's Peace updated the website to include the Founder's picture and statement and a placeholder for the Director information.
On 9/10/2026 GOD's Peace added the no water mini toothbrushes to the backpack. Pictures are in the Photo Gallery.
On 9/11/2026 GOD's Peace received their business cards that were not uniform. Each business card was located on the circle at various places. A picture of one of the business cards is in the Photo Gallery.
On 9/12/2026 GOD's Peace completed their first outreach. Two anonymous volunteers came to help, one volunteer gave consent to allow his photo to be posted on the website and social media. Pictures are in the Photo Gallery.
On 9/13/2026 GOD's Peace provided a backpack to another person. It was nice to have a few backpacks ready to go just in case. More details are on the Facebook page //facebook.com/GODs-Peace-61594124303562/
On 9/14-15/2026 GOD's Peace added a Facebook Feed to the website.
On 9/16/2026 GOD's Peace updated the donation comment to specify solicited donations and unsolicited donations.
On 9/19/2026 GOD's Peace added a voicemail message to Google Voice along with asking who is calling.

On 9/27/2026 GOD's Peace received their first unsolicited food donation. A picture is in the Photo Gallery.
On 10/3/2026 GOD's Peace added a note about background investigations and setup an account with a background service company.
On 10/4/2026 GOD's Peace received their first unsolicited anonymous monetary donation. We are so thankful for the donation which will be used toward the winter outreach. A picture is in the Photo Gallery.
On 10/5/2026 GOD's Peace received more unsolicited anonymous shelf-stable food donations, which will be incorporated in the packages. A picture is in the Photo Gallery.
On 10/10/2026 GOD's Peace completed their second outreach. This time we went to two locations and all of the packages were given away. A picture is in the Photo Gallery.

OPEN POSITIONS
We are currently looking for a number of Volunteers to join our team.
Director (3 positions available)
Location: Vienna, VA
This is a volunteer position with no compensation.
Requirements:
1. Must have a strong desire to help the homeless.
2. Must be willing and available to fulfill the duties of the position.
3. Must be willing to attend at least one homeless outreach.
4. Must be compassionate.
Duties
- All directors shall be elected to serve a one-year term, however the term may be extended until a successor has been elected.
- Director terms may be staggered so that approximately half the number of directors will end their terms in any given year.
- Directors may serve terms in succession.
- The term of office shall be considered to begin January 1 and end December 31 of the same year in office, unless the term is extended until such time as a successor has been elected.
- In order to be eligible to serve as a director on the board of directors, the individual must be at least 18 years of age. Directors may be elected at any board meeting by the majority vote of the existing board of directors. The election of directors to replace those who have fulfilled their term of office shall take place in January of each year.
All volunteer positions require a background investigation to be completed before interviews.
